How It Works

Two flexible composite rods slide into channels along either side of your spine, held in place by a velcro belt at your lumbar. When you bend forward, the rods bow with you and store the energy of the bend. When you stand back up, they release that energy, taking the pressure off your lower spine.

Your core muscles stay active the whole time. A compression belt squeezes your core so tight it switches your muscles off. The Forge Core does the opposite. your back gets stronger over time, not weaker.

The vest adjusts to your body through velcro at the shoulders, side panels, and lumbar belt. Snug or loose — whatever fits your morphology. Thin enough to wear under a work shirt. Built to last a decade with replaceable rods.

How to Wear It

Step 1 — If the rods aren't already in the vest, slide the two composite rods into the channels under the lumbar belt at the back.

Step 2 — Put the vest on like a bulletproof vest — head through the top opening.

Step 3 — Close the side panels using the velcro straps.

Step 4 — Tighten the belt strap around your lower back with the velcro. This locks the rods in place at your lumbar spine.

Step 5 — Adjust the shoulder velcro straps to your preference. Snug for firmer support, looser for more movement. Both work.

That's it. The velcro at every attachment point means you can dial the fit to your body and to what your day looks like.
